Brahim Diaz chose a move to AC Milan over the opportunity to stay in Spain and join a LaLiga club, according to a report.
The attacking midfielder joined on loan from Real Madrid earlier in the month, and while it is officially a dry loan a number of reliable sources have claimed that the Rossoneri will enter discussions with Los Blancos over a permanent deal as the season progresses.
The Spaniard – who arrived in the Spanish capital from Manchester City – made his competitive debut for Milan during Thursday night’s 2-0 win over Shamrock Rovers in Dublin, and his league debut on Monday night versus Bologna, impressing in both.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan and Real Madrid have a gentleman’s agreement to update themselves in a few months to take stock of the situation.
The Spanish playmaker had several offers from LaLiga but chose the Rossoneri, convinced that he could carve out a leading role, suggesting he is thinking of a stay beyond the end of the season.
