CM: Roma join race for Italy international but Milan have €30m offer ready to be sent

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face competition in the race to land Torino striker Andrea Belotti but the Rossoneri are readying a bid, according to a report.

The Rossoneri continue to be persistently linked with a move for Belotti as a potential long-term heir to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as the Torino star is a boyhood Milan fan and an established Italy international.

According to Calciomercato.com, Roma are also thinking of Belotti for next season, but Milan are firmly on the trail of the Torino captain. With his contract expiring in 2022, ‘il Gallo’ is negotiating an extension with his club, but it is far from certain that he will sign a new deal.

Milan in particular are keen on landing him, and for the 27-year-old – who has 16 goal contributions (11G, 5A) in 22 league games this season – they are ready to put an offer of about €30m on the table to try and win the race.
