CM: Milan talent strongly tempted as Boca Juniors express interest – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management are not just focused on potential signings in the last fortnight of the January window but also finding the right opportunities for players on the fringes.

Luka Romero is one of those players who could be allowed to leave between now and the end of the month, having made just one start in the Coppa Italia and four appearances off the bench in the league since arriving from Lazio on a free in the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Argentine forward has put Como’s offer on stand-by because he is not convinced of dropping down to Serie B despite the strong pressure from their head coach Cesc Fabregas to convince him.

The Rossoneri directors have already given their approval to what would be a loan until the end of the season, but the 18-year-old is particularly attracted by an offer that arrived in the last few hours from Boca Juniors.

Romero is keen on the idea of a return to Argentina, his home country, so now the Xeneizes have to reach an agreement with Milan over the terms of the deal.

At the moment their idea is to sign Romero on loan for a year (rather than six months, given the season in Argentina starts in late January).

In addition to Boca Junior and Como, there is also a third club interested in the teenager from another foreign club who are as yet unnamed.

  1. Should do with him what real did with diaz. Loan him out for 2-3 years and see what shakes after.

Chaka, 4 example, is the same age but looks better and can play lw&rw
