CM: Small hope for Milan, Wolves as RB Leipzig have not closed potential €50m deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not totally out of the race to sign Dani Olmo as a report claims RB Leipzig have not found a total agreement with Dinamo Zagreb.

MilanNews.it claimed earlier today that the Spain international has left the training ground of Dinamo Zagreb in order to fly out to Leipzig and complete his move.

TMW offered more information on the terms of the agreement, claiming that the Bundesliga leaders will pay a fixed fee of €35million, with €15m in achievable bonuses, for a total of €50m – plus a 25% sell on clause in favour of the Croatian side.

However, Calciomercato.com claim that the door is not quite closed for Milan and other interested clubs – such as Wolves and Dortmund – just yet.

The outlet claims that there is no total agreement between the clubs regarding the fixed fee and the percentage on the future resale. The parties in contact, but Leipzig want to close the deal within the next 24 hours.

Milan continue to watch and observe, and with a sale such as Suso or Krzysztof Piatek then the necessary funds could arrive to launch their own potentially decisive bid.
