CM: Still no deal reached over Calhanoglu’s renewal – risk of farewell grows but Milan are calm

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan did not manage to reach an agreement with Hakan Calhanoglu and his agent despite today’s meeting, a report claims.

As was expected to happen, a new meeting was staged today between Calhanoglu’s agent Gordon Stipic and the AC Milan management at Casa Milan.

As Calciomercato.com reports, the agent of the Turkish playmaker met with the Milan management today to discuss the extension of his contract. The summit ended with no white smoke, but Milan are still optimistic about finding an agreement in the coming weeks, even if the risk of a separation is becoming more and more concrete.

Milan’s last offer was slightly below €4m net per season and a contract until 2025, a figure that is not yet considered satisfactory by the entourage of Calhanoglu, which aims to include easily accessible bonuses. The chess game goes on, and we must wait for the next meeting to decide his fate.
