Theo Hernandez is happy at AC Milan and is determined to remain with the Rossoneri despite interest from abroad, a report claims.
It was recently reported by Calciomercato.com that Milan have set a firm stance regarding the future of full-back Theo Hernandez, for whom there are two clubs in the running after a fantastic debut season in Serie A so far.
They stated that PSG sporting director Leonardo is once again circling for the Frenchman, but surprisingly Real Madrid are apparently keen on re-signing their former man just a year after they sold him to Milan in a deal worth around €20m.
According to Calciomercato.com reporter Daniele Longo on Twitter, there have been contacts between the Milan ownership and Theo Hernandez’s entourage.
During these talks, it was reiterated that the 22-year-old is happy at Milan and has no wishes to leave the club despite the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, which is concrete.
Leonardo was ready to double his current €3m-a-year salary to bring him to PSG. Other proposals have also arrived to agent Manolo Quilon but there has never been a real intention to open a discussion.
He adds in a follow-up tweet that there are however no plans to extend or alter Theo’s deal, which is currently set to expire in 2024.
