CM: Torino have doubts over move for Milan midfielder – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Following another disappointing season, Milan are expected to revamp the squad this summer, with several players coming and going. Lucas Biglia, who has struggled this season, is almost certain to leave the club.

The Argentine midfielder’s contract will expire at the end of the season, meaning he will be allowed to leave for free. Milan, meanwhile, have no intention of renewing the current contract due to his salary (around €3.5m per year) and age.

According to Calciomercato.com, Torino are one of the teams keeping tabs on Biglia, looking to add some experience for next season. However, as is fully understandable, the directors of the Turin side have a few doubts about the move.

Above all, sporting director Massimo Bava is worried that the player’s injury history could cause an issue. In recent years, the former Lazio man has been held back by multiple serious injuries, preventing him from expressing his full potential.
