CM: Udinese ask about three counterparts in Samardzic talks – Milan’s response

AC Milan remain in talks with Udinese over Lazar Samardzic and they have asked about potential counterparts, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com are reporting that negotiations to bring Samardzic to Milan are in full swing and there have been significant contacts in the last few hours with Udinese, while the player has clearly expressed his desire to make the switch.

The Friulians have asked Milan if they are willing to potentially include any counterparts in the deal that would both lower the cash sum and give them a useful player in return. The three names they asked about specifically were Davide Bartesaghi, Kevin Zeroli and Lorenzo Colombo.

However, the response from Geoffrey Moncada was clear: none of the three will be included in the deal. The strongest rejection came regarding Zeroli, who Milan are banking on for the Futuro team and they believe he is a real gem for the future.

It’s a different story for Bartesaghi and Colombo because there was no agreement on the evaluations of the players with Udinese, implying that the Rossoneri directors rate them higher than their counterparts.
