AC Milan are one of the clubs in the running to sign Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic this summer, according to a report.
As Calciomercato.com write, Samardzic’s agent Rafaella Pimenta seems to have made it obvious that the upcoming transfer window is the right moment for the playmaker to move on from Udinese, inviting bids from interested clubs.
The 21-year-old has a lot of interest too after an impressive season with Udinese in which he racked up five goals and four assists in the league, and an asking price of €20m has been set by the Pozzo family.
At the moment there is no concrete negotiation involving Milan, who are instead focused more on other needs and gaps within the squad.
However, once other operations have been concluded, the Rossoneri will try to open a discussion with a player that they consider to be ideal for the mezzala role that Stefano Pioli wants to add balance to the midfield.
Meanwhile, Napoli have been watching Samardzic for several months, but the negotiation cooled off a bit because the club changed coach. The possible farewell of Piotr Zielinski could change things however.

Well u kinda have to show other clubs how much u value your players. Most of the times these are bluffs to gauge interest and to only attract serious offers
sure that could also be an explanation but it could also just be that they wanted to keep him in the 2022/23 season and now lowers their price but either way if we can strike a deal for him i certainly wouldnt oppose it but i do question it a bit as i would guess that there will be other teams bidding up the price .
