The agent of Lazar Samardzic has described the midfielder who is linked with AC Milan as a ‘phenomenon’, but remained coy about his future.
As cited by Calciomercato.com, Rafaela Pimenta discussed Samardzic in the wake of serious interest in the current Udinese player.
Milan have been very interested in the services of the Serbian 21-year-old, whilst Napoli are also thought to be very serious contenders to take him away from Udinese this summer.
He has been one of the most impressive players outside of the top seven in Serie A this season and he has certainly impressed his agent, as she said: “AC Milan and Napoli? For me he is a phenomenon, he is a player with a lot of potential, let’s see how it will go.”
It does not seem, certainly based on those quotes, that he is any closer to signing for either Milan or Napoli over the other.
He represents a fairly cost-effective way for either side to add more quality depth to the midfield without risking a player who has never been in Serie A.
I like Samardzic. I hope we can clinch this kid. Young with a lot of potential to get better. But if we wait too long then we’ll get into a bidding war which won’t end well for us. Curious where Moncada stands on this guy.
