Devis Vasquez is closing in on an exit as he is in England and will soon sign for Sheffield Wednesday once he has clearance, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Vasquez is already in Sheffield. Once he gets his work permit he will sign for a season on loan with Sheffield Wednesday.
The Yorkshire club were promoted to the Championship via the play-offs last season which is the second tier in England, and it will be a dry loan with no option to buy.
Having joined Guaraní in 2020, Vásquez made his league debut for Club Guaraní in February 2021 against Club Olimpia and he made a name for himself by being a starter in the Copa Libertadores in 2022.
It was in January 2023 that Vásquez signed for Milan on a three-and-a-half year deal to join the goalkeeping ranks but he has never made a senior appearance and has only played once for the youth team.
