CM: Vlasic comments on future after being left out of friendly – the situation as Milan keep pushing

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to try and sign CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic after the arrival of Brahim Diaz, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com confirms a lot of the indiscretions that have emerged recently in stating that the Milan management have a strong interest in Vlasic. They have even made an offer of €5m paid loan plus €20m option to buy plus bonuses, with CSKA asking for €30m but above all the obligation to redeem.

The player for his part would strongly approve a move to Italy and the idea is for the player to force his hand with CSKA. The Moscow club included Vlasic in the squad for their most recent preseason friendly but he did not join his team-mates for the warm-up and remained among the substitutes, sitting on the bench the whole time.

He was interviewed at the end of the match by reporters, who who asked him for answers about his future, he replied with a very simple: “I don’t know.” This, the report adds, suggests more than a few cracks in his relationship with the CSKA. The next few days will be decisive.

  1. In term of style of play, quality, price, and age (23), I think he would be better choice than Coutinho, Ziyech, Sabitzer, etc.

    1. I agree; of all the players who have been mentioned, he’s the only one that really makes sense IMO – the others will all plummet in value in the next few years just because of age and would be a big, unshiftable salary on Milan’s books.

Vlasic is the only one mentioned who shouldn’t lose value over the duration of a contract.

  2. Pls my people, can we go for sabitzer and vlasic. I think will do just great bcos daiz can’t be Milan’s number 10 in at all. Is better rebic plays that role or kessie than diaz and pls let pobega stays.
