Fikayo Tomori’s performances have attracted the attention of clubs back in his home country England, but AC Milan are reportedly not worried.
Tomori made his name in the Premier League with Chelsea, and Calciomercato.com cite the Daily Mail report which claims both Tottenham – who faced the defender in the Champions League – and Manchester United are keen on signing him in the summer.
However, Daniele Longo’s update adds that ‘the Milan project will go ahead with Tomori’. The former Chelsea man signed a contract renewal until 2027 fairly recently and for this reason the management are not panicking about interest from abroad.
Moreover, the journalist states that Tomori ‘feels at home with the Rossoneri’ and he has ‘always expressed the desire to continue with the Rossoneri shirt’ which he considers ‘almost like a second skin’.
Obviously interest from clubs like Spurs and Manchester United is a sign that he is doing things well, but the Premier League duo will likely have to look elsewhere to strengthen their defensive department.
