MN: Comotto on the level of Camarda – what Milan have for the future

AC Milan have a heap of exciting young players in the ranks currently, and one of the leading names is Christian Comotto, who has starred for the Primavera this season.

Francesco Camarda is the big focus of everyone at Milan, and in fairness, outside of the club too. However, he is not the only starlet, far from it. You only need to look at the Primavera to find the other gem of this set-up, and he is another from 2008.

As Milan News write, the Rossoneri have ‘another pearl’ on their hands in the form of Comotto, and he, like Camarda, could become a pillar for the future. However, he must be handled carefully, and his path must work.

With the Primavera this season, he has been a leader, both technically and mentally for the rest of the team, playing across the midfield roles. Furthermore, he has already captained the Azzurrini at a young age – something which his idol Sandro Tonali also did whilst wearing the same number.

According to the report, he is ready for the senior set-up, though some time in Serie C with the Futuro could be the ideal scenario – a ‘godsend’ even.

However, if they were to be relegated, his position would have to be evaluated, considering he may be on the verge of outgrowing the Primavera, if he is not there already.

  1. Why not spend the year sitting him on the bench of the senior squad whilst never being able to play for either Futuro or Primavera?

    1. We need to make the most of Liberalli, Zeroli, Camada, Ibrahimovic and Cobious

I really hate the fact that we lost Kerkez and they sold Tonali,

This is why Sergio should be given time and we should have our own plan and stick to, not by switching and panicking every time we lose a game

Inter’s management are so far ahead of ours in every aspect and that is why the have 2 champions league finals, even though for me we are on par with them on the pitch, they just utilise their resources a lot better then ours and excell in the transfer market, whereas we turn every purchase into a soap opera

We need continuity and then we will have consistency…. Does not take any genius to figure this out

      1. all of them seen as capital gain just like Kerkez & Tonali.. remember Locatelli, Bellanova, Cristante, Maldini they all on Gli Azzurri, can’t be worse than Chuck, Musah, RLC, Royal if we keep them.. even Darmian who beg to re-join us but we reject, now he going to play in UCL final as main squad, both at merda & Azzurri

  2. Just wait. MONEYBALL Moncada will soon sell both of them for peanuts – so that we can hire another el cheapo moneyball signing.

That way, we can resell that player and make MOAR MONIES!

    MONEYBALL FTW!

    1. moncada is man of data, M&M is man of football, together they done great transfers.
      moncada + foolani + Z = data + cheap a5s + words = disaster

    2. You really should read Moneyball. Apart from being an excellent book, you might realise that it’s not what you’re describing there.

  3. He should leave and go to a club that will give him a chance like Atalanta.

Look at Simic last year. Star of the Primavera defence, getting to a european final. Scored on debut for Milan at 18. Played well every chance he got. Sold for 3m

Now playing 1st team football, including in europe.
Imagine he didn’t want to join that futuro disaster, lol!
