The winter window has given Milan new life, both from an environmental point of view and on the field too, something Sergio Conceicao wishes to use.
As MilanNews recall, the Rossoneri beat Roma 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia thanks to a brace from Tammy Abraham, but it was Santi Gimenez’s assist for Joao Felix’s goal that really got the excitement bubbling given both were making their debut.
All of this obviously made Conceicao happy, which he did not try and hide after the game: “I am very satisfied and happy with the fans: on Wednesday with the cold they cheered passionately, it makes me very happy.
“They are really important for the team that feels this: I thank them. We worked on the market, it was not easy to get the players we wanted: the management made an effort and I am happy. We are more competitive and this makes me happy.”
That is part one of Conceicao’s vision: he wants the club to be united with supporters and players in harmony, each side knowing the other is doing everything to help the club succeed. The way to help that is with on-field performances and results.
The second part of the coach’s idea is to start shaping Milan from a tactical standpoint, rather than focusing almost exclusively on mentality as he has been so far. The new signings will help that, with the public declaration finally coming that the end goal is a 4-4-2, like he used at Porto.
“We are working to be a more compact and aggressive team, not allowing the opponents to get close to our goal. With these players who have arrived we can work better to go on the path that I like, to play with the two up front, for example… Scoring goals and not conceding them.”
Does’nt Pulisic look a bit dejected?
Yeap, he did, Conceicao is stubborn and not flexible with his players.
Calabria and Bennacer had a dash with Conceicao and both gone… probably next will be Pulisic
Anda jangan menyebar berita TIDAK BENAR!!!
Memang anda siapa???
Pelatih atau bagian dari pemain AC Milan???
He maybe look‘s but who care‘s theyr getting paid Milion‘s, it‘s not a safe to have a place at first 11‘ for no one, who perform‘s shall play and who not should be ready on the bench. If player‘s like the previous we had, have problem‘s with quality competition then they should leave. Either you have a team mentality or you will be sold, we dont need cry babies and unsecure player‘s about theyr LvL‘s. That‘s why Pulisic went under at Chelsea he had a problem with competition, at that time he was also benched in US national team, he need‘s to keep his lvl up and his consistency Running otherwise I See him at bench or leaving the club.
He didn’t have a problem with competition at Chelsea. He welcomed it. He had a problem with injuries and consistency. Chelsea was a dumpster fire anyways.
What a clueless comment. Level up his consistency and running?
He’s been the most consistent player on this team since he got here. And runs more than any other player most games. Get a clue before you make such foolish comments.
This is rubbish. My boy, Joao was benched at Chelsea before coming to Milan, did he cry? He left on loan so he obviously didn’t stay and fight for a place in the starting 11. Also, Pulisic was never benched for his national team.
Joao plays CAM, ST, LW. Within Conceicao’s formations Pulisic would play RW in 4231 while Joao will plays the CAM. In a 442 Joao would play second striker and Pulisic the RM. Playing RM actually might benefit him because the strikers will free him to cut inside and provide more targets for crosses.
Joao’s problem is in his head, we will see how long Conceicao will put up with that. He always starts fast but as the season wears he loses momentum. For this season so far Joao has sat on the bench at Chelsea, fresh legs and makes cameo, bags a sitter because two Roma defenders jump to Santi leaving Joao unmarked while Pulisic playing every minute through two knocks, scores twice against Inter, scores against Liverpool, scored down a man in Croatian while everyone else gave up. Pulisic goals are decisive not ones that put us up 3-1.
But who knows, Conceicao does seem to have man crush on Joao. I don’t see Joao liking the hard coaching though, plus he is on a dry loan and we really need that DM spot addressed in the summer. The biggest factor is Pulisic raises the value of the club due to commercial and America appeal. It will come down to club valuation with Gerry so whoever increase the value of the club most will stay.
U are very observant. U are 100% correct. Dejected because JOAO FELIX would ATTACKING MIDFIELD from him. He is not a good RW player. All his goals comes from d ATM
So not true. He scores less when he’s in the middle.
Tired and Dissatified I hope but scowling for sure.
Should we call for him to leave the club like the others who pouted or….??
Hahahaha
Yeah this is nonsense.
Still trying to make excuses for Theo I see. Let me know when you see Pulisic not giving an effort. Or directly disobeying the coach in front of the entire team.
See the difference? Nice try.
Check Cess’ comment. He understood it was tongue in cheek/joke, it’s a sign of intelligence . But you got your panties in a bunch as usual.
Again, I know you too well at this point. It was just a thinly veiled attempt to try and let Theo off the hook for sabotaging the previous coach by trying to say Pulisic is now in the same category. Not even close buddy. Good try tho.
Trust you to turn a light hearted moment into a lecture. You must be fun at parties (sarcasm btw, have to state it because clearly you don’t understand it). I’ve said nothing about Theo. YOU clearly have an agenda against the player and now you want to put words in other people’s mouths by making these false as.sociations as if I’m making those claims simply because you’re incapable of comprehension. I said “others”, plural, so it could be Calabria, Morata, Leao, Benny, etc etc a whole list of potentials that fit the criteria. But nah, YOU chose Theo and started your mental gymnastics, not me. The whole idea of my post, clueless one, is basically a play on the idea that commenters on this forum are quick to want to sell or move players on as soon as discontent arises or not falling in line with the coach, so when it happens to “good guy” Pulisic it sets up a dilemma, a conundrum if you will, doesn’t it. That’s part of the ironically funny you don’t seem to get but others do. Ooops I said “others” again. That I said it in sarcasm means I don’t agree with the notion. I can’t believe I have to explain this to your d.umba$$.
If anything this highlights the absurdity of reactive sentiments that prevails in these spaces as soon as a player seems out of line and applying blanket consequences for relatively similar actions; it goes for all. Again I can’t help your lack of intelligence for someone who loves calling other people mor0ns. Feels like a royal waste of my time having to explain this bit of sarcasm to you. You’re souring the fun.
He looked happy when scoring against Parma. Dont spread nonsense.
Pulisic always looks like that when he is taken and feels he hasn’t had as much of an impact on a game as he expects.
I noticed that too last game actually.
If he is dejected and doesn’t like Sergio style then he should leave, Milan could get around 50million for him, love Puli but no one is bigger than the club even if he is our best attacker currently
Pulisic we start as RM
Yes that is what I’m thinking? In my opinion whatever formation conceicao is going to play he want to remove Pulisic from the first 11
And that is the result that came out To me when I looked deeply
Why would he want to remove Pulisic? He’s their best player and top goal scorer. I don’t think he’s 100% at the moment but there shouldn’t be any reason Conceciao would want to keep him out of the starting 11.
Honestly I wouldn’t want to play for Conceicao either. Trying to play while the coach is screaming at you the entire match like you are some remote controlled robot. Telling you where to be at every moment. Leave that sh!t on the training ground. You need to give the players some freedom to play, especially attacking players.
If you teach them well in training you shouldn’t need to be screaming at them during the match.
That’s why Ancelotti is the best manager and players love playing for him. He knows how to get the best out of players and he doesn’t have to break their spirit to do it.
But when you don’t have any tactics I guess all you can do is run the players ragged.
each coach has his own style. Go tell that to Conte, Tuchel, Mou and even Pep… Have you seen him when things go sideways for him? .. Point is, not everyone is a Carlo, or Ferguson coach. Fonseca was a no-scream coach and look where it got us.
“Honestly I wouldn’t want to play for Conceicao either. Trying to play while the coach is screaming at you the entire match like you are some remote controlled robot. ”
Yeah… I remember everyone wanting to leave ManUtd when Sir Alex was screaming at the players. 😀 😀 😀 😀
Some people… I tell you… Some people… You can’t make this sh1t up. 😀 😀 😀
Please shut up Milan player need that shouting for their head to be correct on the field not joking
Didn’t you just commend Milan on how well they played last game for a change? Yet Conceicao is doing a terrible job? I don’t understand what your criticism is about honestly.
He has to keep up a narrative. He misses Fonseca. Still reeling from him getting fired after he got us to 8th with zero signs of turning it around. So any chance he gets he has to point out flaws in the new coach.
ACM1899. Yes, I said this was the first good performance under Conceicao, Which it was. 1 out of 9 or ten games now and we pretend like everything is great?
And I don’t like his coaching style to be honest. I hate watching the games and seeing him constantly screaming at the players, can’t imagine how the players must love that. Running the players into the ground to make up for a lack of tactics. He’s going to turn this club into Porto, which may have been successful in the Portuguese league but is brutal to watch. You can already see it starting with the constant grabbing of players and the amount of yellow cards we get every game now. It’s ugly football in my opinion.
So you should rewatch Inzaghi the last game against us. That’s screaming. And he’s doing just fine.
Better to be very successful in a league than unsuccessful everywhere you go including Serie A….twice…like our previous coach. Oh no But but but Ukraine lol 😂
Please let’s have it at the back of our minds that Conciecao has bearly done time with this team, there would still be some straightening up during match, l am kind of excited about what our new look Milan will perform. Forza Milan
