In the increasingly tense climate that is being felt at AC Milan, tonight’s match against Lecce could bring more surprises in terms of team news.

As Calciomercato.com write, the eve of the game was characterised by the case of Sergio Conceicao’s spokesman, Francisco Empis. He leaked accusations against the management and the players to the press and which led the coach to announce legal action against his now ex-collaborator.

The tensions that have not changed the mind of the former Porto boss, who is determined to carry out a real revolution regarding the XI that will have to challenge the team coached by the ex-Milan coach Marco Giampaolo.

According to the latest rumours from Milanello, Theo Hernandez has been tested in the starting line-up. Despite his recent poor performances, the French full-back is not at risk of losing his place at the moment.

The defensive line, without the suspended Mike Maignan and Strahinja Pavlovic, will be completed by Marco Sportiello in goal, a centre-back pairing of Malick Thiaw and Matteo Gabbia with Kyle Walker on the right.

In midfield, Warren Bondo – the French midfielder who arrived at the end of January from Monza – will make his debut from the start. He will be paired with Yunus Musah, with Youssouf Fofana on the bench.

Rafael Leao and Joao Felix, barring any last-minute changes of heart, will be excluded from the side. Alex Jimenez and Christian Pulisic will play in their place, with a battle between Tammy Abraham and Santiago Gimenez for the striker slot.

Tijjani Reijnders – who has just renewed his contract until 2030 – will be tasked with a more creative role as the central attacking midfielder.
