For AC Milan to be at their most dangerous they need the very best version of Sandro Tonali, and he is about to be given some big encouragement from the management.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that Stefano Pioli obviously considers Tonali to be a vital cog in the machine, but so far this season Tonali has alternated great performances like the one against Inter with more disappointing performances like against Atalanta.
Tonali will have to be as consistent as in last season for the Rossoneri to achieve their ambitions in 2022-23 and will also have to be dominant as in last Saturday’s derby as part of that. Maldini and Massara have faith he will be, as the Italian will soon also sign a renewal until 2027.
