GdS: Conte having to deal with five Spurs absences for return leg vs. Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Spurs will welcome AC Milan to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday night hoping to overhaul the first leg deficit, but Antonio Conte is battling numerous injury problems.

As also reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), Conte will have to do without at least five important players for the game against Milan, starting with the now well-known long-term absentees in goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.

Midfielder Yves Bissouma and left-back Ryan Sessegnon will miss out with muscle problems while Eric Dier was booked against Milan in the first leg and will have to serve a suspension after reaching the threshold for yellow cards.

The only good news for Conte is the return of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who was absent from the San Siro match due to suspension and should partner Oliver Skipp in the double pivot.

The other choices should include Fraser Forster in goal with Cristian Romero, Clement Lenglet and Ben Davies in the three-man defence, Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic as wing-backs then Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son as a front three.
