The bracket for the 2023-24 edition of the Coppa Italia has been released, and AC Milan could meet their rivals Inter in the semi-finals.
The regulation of the Coppa Italia for next season will not change as 44 teams will participate, which involves the 20 teams from Serie A, 20 from Serie B and four clubs from Serie C.
There are no draws for the pairings, but they will be based on a ranking in which the holder of the trophy (Inter) will have number one, while the others follow based on their positioning in Serie A. Therefore, the ‘seeding’ is as follows: Inter, Napoli, Lazio, Milan, Atalanta, Roma, Juventus and Fiorentina.
Given the format, we can already hypothesise the meetings of Napoli-Juventus and Lazio-Roma on one side, plus Inter-Fiorentina and Milan-Atalanta on the other, with a potential Derby della Madonnina in the semis.
