CorSera: Giroud’s arrival and his family’s move – Ibrahimovic motivated by two stimuli

By Oliver Fisher -

The arrival of Olivier Giroud has stimulated Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the pair could be used together, according to a report.

As reported by il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), the Swede is the first to know that he cannot play all the games next season – especially after his constant injury battles last season – but it is clear that from the competition that Giroud provides he will find further stimuli.

From the point of view of head coach Stefano Pioli, he is convinced that the two strikers can also play together in a 4-4-2 if needed, so rather than being pitted against each other the duo could very well co-exist.

The paper also adds that Ibrahimovic is about to be joined in Milan by his partner Helena and his children. The decision to take the boys away from Sweden was not easy and some logistical details still have to be resolved, but within a few months the family will be living under the same roof again, which is obviously a further stimulus.
