Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan target Rodrigo De Paul, which could push through Angel Correa’s sale.
The Rossoneri were linked with a move for Udinese star De Paul earlier this month as it emerged that the club had shortlisted a number of names for potential midfield signings.
The 25-year-old had an impressive campaign last season amassing nine goals and eight assists in the league alone.
The Argentina international is reportedly valued at around €35-40million, and if Thursday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera is to be believed, he could still play a part in Milan’s transfer plans.
They claim that De Paul could move to Atletico Madrid from Udinese to take Correa’s place, who in turn looks set to join Milan.
A large factor in this is that both Correa and De Paul share the same representative – Augustin Jimenez – so this finds a way for the agent to satisfy all parties involved in the Correa situation.
