CorSera: Ibrahimovic tests positive for Coronavirus and will miss Bodo/Glimt game

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus and will miss Thursday night’s game against Bodo/Glimt.

After Leo Duarte was confirmed as having contracted the virus on Wednesday, news has now arrived from il Corriere della Sera that Ibrahimovic has tested positive too.

The source goes on to add that the discovery was made after the results were published of the tests that all Rossoneri players had undergone following the ascertained positivity on Wednesday of Duarte.

As a result, the young Lorenzo Colombo will lead the line for Stefano Pioli’s side against FK Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League third qualifying round game at San Siro.

It is yet another blow to Pioli, who is already juggling a crisis in defence with Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Mussachio and Duarte out plus the suspension of Ante Rebic and the fact Rafael Leao is not yet back to fitness after recovering from COVID.
