CorSera: Ibrahimovic’s Sanremo week begins – he will still be at San Siro for Udinese game

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will still be present at San Siro on Wednesday night despite the fact he will not play against Udinese due to injury, a report claims.

As il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) writes, Ibrahimovic will have to deal with another stop and another hitch in a positive but troubled season due to lesion of his left adductor long muscle.

For Zlatan, the week of his Sanremo appearances begins. Today there will be a new meeting with doctors for treatment, but the injury should not change the program. The Swede will return to Milan tomorrow night to stay close to his team-mates who will face Udinese. He will connect with the festival on video.

It is the best solution, because Ibrahimovic’s presence in the San Siro dressing room before the match can help. The 39-year-old has always put Milan and the team first and will not fail to keep his promises. Zlatan is the leader of the group and will prove it.
