CorSera: Italy international snubs Man Utd and PSG as Milan launch serious €35m assault

By Oliver Fisher -

Reported AC Milan and Inter target Sandro Tonali has rejected the chance to move abroad and join one of two European giants, a report claims.

According to il Corriere della Sera (via InterDependenza), Tonali’s future has yet to be defined but he is almost certain to remain in Italy.

The paper claims that clubs such as Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have made enquiries, but the 20-year-old midfielder prefers to stay in Italy at this stage of his career.

Meanwhile, the paper adds that Inter are focusing on Arturo Vidal and Aleksander Kolarov which means their attentions have turned away from Tonali, allowing Milan to try and pounce.

Negotiations for Tonali are on stand-by as a result, even though Inter have had an agreement with both the player and with Brescia for weeks.

Milan came forward and proposed a €10m loan fee with option to buy at €25m, and the player is attracted by the Rossoneri’s proposal not only because he is a boyhood fan of the club. He knows that in Pioli’s plans he would have a central role.
