CorSera: Juventus and Inter dominate top 10 player salaries in Serie A – Milan only have one

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is among the top ten highest paid players in Serie A for the 2020-21 season, according to a report.

Tuesday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan) reports how Ibrahimovic earns €7m net per season at Milan but he is not even in the top three in terms of salaries within.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is of course at the top with his €31m net per season, while in second place is Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt – also of Juve – with €8m.

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is in third as he earns €7.5m net per season, while Christian Eriksen and Edin Dzeko are in fourth and fifth as they earn the same as the Belgian.

In sixth place with €7.3m net per season is another Juventus player in Argentine striker Paulo Dybala, and from seventh place down three players share the same salary and ranking position with Ibrahimovic.

They are two Juventus players and one Inter player: Alexis Sánchez, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey – all of whom earn €7m net and far exceed the average salary of a Serie A player, which is around €1.2m net per season.
