CorSera: Milan begin negotiations over No.1 striker target – Maldini counting on €50m revenue

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic their number one attacking target and have begun negotiations, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) highlights some of Milan’s market strategies. They confirm that the Rossoneri are looking for a striker who can rotate with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and allow the Swede to manage his work load a bit better given he will be 40 later in the year.

The number one target is Dusan Vlahovic, 21 years old and with 21 league goals to his name. The negotiations have begun, but Maldini will only be able to formalise an offer when he can count on the €50m that qualification for the Champions League brings.

At the moment, the requests of Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso are very high as he wants €60m for the Serbia international given his age, potential, the fact he is under contract until 2023 and his tremendous exploits this season.
