CorSera: Milan to allocate bulk of summer budget towards No.1 attacking target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ready to put aside the majority of their summer budget to sign their number one target for the attack, a report claims.

According to what Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Milan’s mercato should spring into life after the renewals of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are confirmed plus the signings of Divock Origi and Renato Sanches.

Once those operations are sorted, Milan are willing to commit a large sum of money towards signing Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge who they view as the ideal playmaker for Stefano Pioli’s system and the club’s project.

De Ketelaere has an asking price of €40m given his exploits for the Belgian side. He is versatile given that he can play either as a No.10, as a winger or even as a centre-forward and he stands at 192cm tall. The 21-year-old amassed 18 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions in 2021-22.

  1. You said 7m is too much gat to be kidding me right if we want return to elite again need to review our wage cap even Tomori Kalulu Theo Tonali even Leao is requesting 6m before signing new deal all else those players will be leaving one by one even Bennacer put a stop to is contract discussion is about to ask for more for we need to get Asensio, Charles, Belotti Sanches if that’s the player we get is a upgrade for next season we can build for the future with them even Lang would be good if Rebic go
    Asensio 30m
    Charles 35m
    Sanches 20m
    Belotti 0m
Lang 25m incase Rebic sold = 105m spent wisely
    Just renew Romagnoli.
We good to go next season

    1. I think Leao will leave bc it takes so long. Our contract renewals are quite poor. You can’t replace Leao with Lang. Lang isn’t slow but also not fast

    2. Great idea. I oray maldini is seeing this. But i think rebid needs to go and Lang comes in then bring him to the right wing.
