CorSera: Milan want to keep up momentum from Liverpool game in crucial Juventus clash

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will head to Turin to face Juventus without the same fear they might have had in recent years, according to a report.

As il Corriere della Sera writes (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri travel with the intention of further stretching the gap to their rivals which currently stands at eight points, but it will not be easy because Allegri’s side are looking for a response.

Milan returned from Liverpool with an extra awareness having managed to stay in the game against a side that play at a very high level, and the paper writes that it is right not to fear even the Allianz Stadium after such a game. Pioli will have to do without Ibrahimovic’s leadership and Giroud’s experience plus a key player like Calabria.

The eight-point advantage means very little because the game has become a must-win for Juve early on in the season, but at the same time Pioli does not intend to curb the enthusiasm of his team. For the Rossoneri it will be essential to be able to play as they know, playing fast and decisively.
