AC Milan will have to make certain assurances if they are to secure the renewals of two of their key stars, according to a report.
It is getting to the time where Milan need to urgently think about addressing the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose current contract is set to expire at the end of the 2020-21 season.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri will also have an eye on the situation surrounding Alessio Romagnoli, whose deal runs until 2022 but the management will want to avoid the same time pressures they are now facing with Donnarumma.
According to a report from il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), the agent of the aforementioned duo – Mino Raiola – will ask for ‘salaries like champions and the guarantee of a winning Milan soon’ in order to give his blessing for his clients to sign.
The paper adds that in order to convince Donnarumma and Romagnoli to stay, Milan will have to guarantee both not only important signings, but also a competitive project. Gigio and Alessio want to play to win, and they have made that clear.
