CorSera: No offers for €25m-rated Milan winger despite interest from Sevilla

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not received an official offer from LaLiga side Sevilla for winger Suso despite rumours claiming they are interested, a report claims.

We reported earlier on Wednesday via our mercato expert Vito Angele that Milan’s mercato is currently blocked due to three players who seemingly can’t be sold, one of whom is Suso.

The Spaniard has been deemed surplus to requirements in recent weeks with head coach Stefano Pioli having completed a switch to a 4-4-2 formation.

SportMediaset reported on Thursday that Suso expressed his desire to be sold during a meeting a few days ago at Casa Milan, but that a €25million asking price has been set.

According to il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews.it – Suso is not deemed central to the Rossoneri project and for this reason he has indeed asked for a move.

The problem is that for now no concrete proposals have arrived, and the newspaper adds that not even Sevilla’s interest in the Spanish has materialised in real offers.
