CorSera: Optimism filters from Milan over Ibrahimovic after new offer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are optimistic that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will secure a return to the club, a report claims, having changed their offer.

According to il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews.it – the Swede assured the Milan management that a decision over his future will arrive by the end of the year, meaning it could be a few days or a few hours.

Optimism is filtering from Casa Milan, as they believe that Ibrahimovic is tempted by a return to Milan but wants to be sure he can make a difference, but of course he wants to get paid for what he’s worth.

That’s why Paolo Maldini and co. changed their offer; not economically but rather making the 12 month extension more attainable based on individual objectives (appearances, goals, winning goals) – parameters which have an impact on where the team finishes.

Zlatan is reflecting, but he will soon give his answer. Meanwhile his wife Helena is pushing for a return to the city that they loved and where they would like to raise their children.
