CorSera: ‘Tension’ during meeting between Suso, Maldini and Boban – the Spaniard’s request

By Oliver Fisher -

Suso had a tense meeting with AC Milan directors Zvonomir Boban and Paolo Maldini on Monday regarding his future, according to a report.

The Spaniard has fallen under favour for the time being at Milan as he has not started in any of the Rossoneri’s last three competitive fixtures, leading to widespread speculation he could leave the club during the current window.

It was revealed by MilanNews.it’s Anto Vitiello that Suso was present at Casa Milan on Monday for a meeting which lasted around 45 minutes – most likely to discuss his departure.

According to Tuesday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews.it – there was a face-to-face meeting between the forward and the Milan hierarchy, during which Suso reiterated his intention to leave the club.

The paper confirms that the conversation with Boban and Maldini lasted 45 minutes and that there were ‘moments of tension’. Suso’s desire to leave is clear but Milan will not just give him away; instead they are aiming for a nice capital gain to help their accounts.
