CorSera: The truth behind Milan’s alleged agreement with Ralf Rangnick

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s owners continue to deny having an agreement in place with Ralf Rangnick, a report claims, but there is an interest from their side.

German outlet Bild dropped a bombshell earlier in the month when they claimed that Rangnick – the current head of development for Red Bull football – is in advanced talks to take over as Milan head coach and sporting director for next season.

Calciomercato.com then added that the German’s hope is to wipe out any doubts about his future as soon as possible, even with a public announcement or confirmation from Milan.

According to il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews – , there is no agreement with the German manager as he is under contract as Red Bull’s Head of Development for football until June.

However, the paper confirms that there is an interest on the part of the Rossoneri, who are evaluating the former Leipzig manager as a potential option to lead the club into a new era.
