CorSera: Todibo has said yes to Milan; talks with Barcelona to define the deal

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have started their revolution at the back. Thanks to the blitz of sporting director Ricky Massara in Barcelona, the Rossoneri now have the ‘yes’ of Jean-Clair Todibo, as we anticipated on Friday evening.

However, as Corriere Della Sera reports (via MilanNews.it), the player made a request by saying yes to the move: he doesn’t want to cut the connection with Barcelona, where he believes he could be important in the future.

In short, Todibo is in favour of a move to Italy, but he also wants to reserve the possibility of choosing. The solution, therefore, is the formula of a loan with an option to buy as well as a buy-back clause in favour of the Catalans, per the report.

As the formula has been chosen, the parties are now at work to define the figures of the deal. Furthermore, according to the newspaper, yet another centre-back could arrive if Caldara and Gabbia were to leave on loan.
