GdS: AC Milan’s probable XI for Samp clash – Calabria, Ibrahimovic in

By Isak Möller -

As the Christmas break has come to an end, AC Milan are gearing up to host Sampdoria at San Siro tomorrow afternoon. After the 5-0 loss against Atalanta, they will be looking to redeem themselves.

Although the performance before the break was horrendous, Stefano Pioli won’t make many changes to the starting line-up. On the other hand, the two that he will make could prove to be very decisive for the Rossoneri.

In defence, as Gazzetta Dello Sport reports (via ACMilanChannel on Twitter), Calabria will replace Conti on the right flank, having impressed in the friendly against Rhodense. Furthermore, Hernandez is back from suspension and will play on the left as usual.

Per the newspaper, although he only arrived on Thursday, Ibrahimovic will play from the first minute. The 38-year-old has presented himself in excellent condition at Milanello, thus convincing the manager to make use of him straight away.

Likely AC Milan XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer, Bonaventura; Suso, Ibrahimovic, Calhanoglu.
