Reijnders isn’t defensive by nature. RLC isn’t a ten and is out of position, but Fonseca insists a double pivot instead of 433 to help cover those spaces left behind by the wingers.

I take it as you being satisfied with what Reijnders and RLC have shown so far during this season.
Bennacer is easily the best midfielder Milan has. The spine of the midfield scudetto was on him, Kessie and Tonali. The pivot with Kessie was the foundation. He can actually retain the ball play from the back, gives Milan a structure. Fofana does not have his ball control or skill. This Milan management is beyond incompetent. I cannot believe Milan fans are not protesting such a sale. 30% of bennacer was better then all the Milan midfielders against Lazio.

Incredible that Milan continues 4231 or 433. We have lazy wingers… how to make such strategy work? Get back to 4312 twin strikers will be a better option.

4312 our defense will be stronger. Better listen up. 433 ot 4231 is not Milan DNA
If you knew anything about football you’d know 4312 is not a formation know for it’s defensive achievements. Any teams going wide can run you over.
433 is the most balanced and 4231 is also balanced in atk and def but you rely heavy on having a really good AM.
