CorSport: Calhanoglu’s renewal on standby due to sizeable distance between the parties

By Oliver Fisher -

There is no imminent agreement between AC Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu as there is still a gap between the two parties, a report claims.

Renewals are dominating the headlines surrounding Milan and the moment as three key players are inside the last 100 days of their contracts in Calhanoglu, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Agreements are needed soon to put the minds of supporters and sections of the media at ease, and remove the risk of losing anyone of value on a free transfer at the end of the season.

According to a report from il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the negotiation over Calhanoglu’s renewal is currently on stand by. That is because there is still a distance between the offer from the management and the demands of the player and his entourage of roughly €1m, so an effort will be needed from either or possibly both sides to strike a deal.

  1. Gigio in poles alone is demanding $10m why wouldn’t he running all around the field demand more,if they yield to the greedy demand of Raiola the whole plan of the management will collapse because all the next negotiations will be hard, they’ll all demand more than necessary to sign or renew their contract.

  2. He’s waiting to see if they will give Gigio his $10m then he too will ask for his $5.5m if not the $6m he started with.let pray it’s all ends well for we to keep our stars and inform players,
    Forza Milan.
