AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is waiting nervously as the outcome of the latest test on Ante Rebic is due shortly, a report claims.
According to the latest from il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), Milan are preparing for Saturday’s derby against Inter knowing they will have star duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessio Romagnoli back, however there is still doubt surrounding the condition of Rebic who dislocated his elbow in last month’s win away at Crotone.
A decision will be made in the next 48 hours regarding the Croatia international’s condition as he will undergo a specialist examination today or tomorrow, after which it will be established whether he will play or not.
It must be added that pessimism filters about Rebic’s availability for the derby and at the moment the most likely solution is Rafael Leao on the left wing supporting Calhanoglu and Saelemaekers, but Brahim Diaz should not be ruled out either.
