CorSport: Donnarumma’s future at Milan under serious threat – Real Madrid on pole

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future appears increasingly likely to be away from AC Milan, a report claims, with a new club now in pole for his signature.

According to il Corriere dello Sport on Tuesday (via PianetaMilan), keeping Donnarumma will be anything but simple for the Rossoneri hierarchy.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper has a contract which expires at the end of next season, meaning Milan are in a hurry to resolve his future or they risk letting him enter the last year of his deal.

Donnarumma currently makes €6m-a-year which is the most of any player in the current squad (with the exception of Ibrahimovic), and a number of reports have claimed that Elliott Management do not want to go above this.

Suitors are not lacking, and the report goes on to claim that Real Madrid are, in fact, now leading the chase to land the Primavera graduate.

Milan know they cannot afford to lose one of their top players, and a lot could depend on what the plans are for the summer with regards to the market and the
