By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not yet made a decision on the future of Tommaso Pobega and will not be rushed into doing so, according to a report.

After being sent out on loan to Terni in Serie C and Pordenone in Serie B, Maldini and Massara made the decision to renew Pobega’s contract until 2025 before sending him on a new one-year loan to Spezia, where he impressed.

Staying at Milan and playing in the Champions League with Pioli would be a dream for Pobega, plus there is the fact he woudl be a home-grown player for the UEFA squad list and would be able to cover when Kessie and Bennacer leave for the African Cup of Nations.

According to the latest from il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Pobega’s future is still uncertain. Milan will make a decision on the player late in the preseason as they are taking into consideration the idea of making him an alternative option for the midfield.
