The agent of Hakan Calhanoglu has had a conversation with Inter about the idea of crossing the city divide, according to a report.
The European Championships were supposed to be the perfect showcase for Calhanoglu to demonstrate his abilities and for some top clubs to present an offer while he stalled on Milan’s proposal, but Turkey have lost two matches out of two and the No.10’s performances were far from good.
As reported by il Corriere dello Sport (via MN24), Inter are the latest team who are monitoring the possibility of signing Calhanoglu for the midfield. In the past few hours the agent of the former Bayern Leverkusen star, Gordon Stipic, has had a telephone call with the management of the Nerazzurri.
It is described as an exploratory conversation to test the ground on the real interest from Inter in his client. Calhanoglu in recent times has been linked in particular with Atletico Madrid and Juventus, but those seem to be fading as options.
