Inter still have work to do if they are to seal a deal for AC Milan target Sandro Tonali, according to a report.
Milan have been repeatedly linked with a move for Tonali who is a self-confessed boyhood fan of the club, though it seems as though their city rivals have always been a step ahead in the race.
According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Inter have reached an agreement with the player on the basis of a five-year deal worth €3.5million, including bonuses.
The difficult part of the negotiation, however, will come in the search for the right agreement between Inter and Brescia.
Their director Beppe Marotta will have to convince Brescia president Massimo Cellino to accept the Nerazzurri offer, and they are wanting to try and secure a loan with an obligation to buy at no higher than €35million.
Inter therefore have the inside track, but there is still work to be done.
