CorSport: Kamada the certainty Milan need as frustration grows among fans

By Isak Möller -

Daichi Kamada could be AC Milan’s first signing of the summer, expected to join on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. Given the latest events, the Rossoneri desperately need the signing.

Sandro Tonali has been sold to Newcastle and Marcus Thuram has decided to join Inter. In just a few days, a lot changed at Milan and the situation isn’t looking too good, with fans now increasingly frustrated about how things have been handled.

Kamada, as highlighted by Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), could be the guarantee that Milan need at this time. In five years, he has found the back of the 56 times and the No.10 role is one of the most important for the Rossoneri.

Kamada’s arrival, in other words, could improve the feeling at Milan and give the fans something concrete to talk about. Thus far, there have been many ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ and a certainty is thus needed for the project.

  1. The way Milan’s management have conducted the mercato so far, I’d be amazed if Kamada were to sign. I fully expect Monza (or some other minor team) to come in and beat us with a better offer.

Elliott were bad, but Redbird are not serious or credible owners for a club of Milan’s stature. Milan fans need to protest more forcibly, otherwise it’ll be a decade of mediocrity (or worse).

  2. I think they can’t miss out on this one but let’s see, I’m sure these guys have an idea how to ruin this. In the end it will be Scammacca, because no one else will pay the money for him, Pulisic, same reason. And Florentino Luis who Getafe had on loan with option to buy for 10M€ last season and did not use it. He is suddenly a 30-40M player?

  3. welll….its not like kamada will calm many down and considering how badly this summer has begun the management will have to do a hell of a lot more to even reach scratch again.

    1. No , only strong signing can calm down fans. More good if they win 10 match serie A in row after serie A start , that would stop the riot from fans

      1. well that would surely help to improve the mood of me but as i see it cardinale cant really fix what he broke by buying players as this club also has values and traditions that i think he has pissed all over.
Besides of maldinis sacking and mow tonali getting sold who were the last player i would have sold and then possibly also selling theo shows cardinale is at the wrong club.

  4. You can’t support any other team or whatsoever…
Problem with new owner is that obvious they only gamble on artificial intelligence and no one likes it expect them.
