CorSport: Kamada will join Milan but won’t replace Tonali as Moncada shops in the Eredivisie

The sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United has put the wheels in motion with regards to AC Milan’s incoming market, and his replacement could come from outside Italy.

According to what Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Daichi Kamada ‘s transfer to Milan is only a matter of time and he will sign a four-year contract worth €3m net per season.

However, his profile isn’t exactly one that suggests he will be a replacement for Tonali’s even if he can play in multiple positions in midfield.

The new name hat has come back into fashion after being sought many times in the past is that of Seko Fofana. The 28-year-old RC Lens captain had an excellent season, but that is why he also has a €35m asking price.

For this reason, Milan could turn to some more advantageous options on an economic level with the Dutch league one that Geoffrey Moncada is looking at particularly closely.

Tijjani Reijnders has long been under the magnifying glass of Moncada and his team, but AZ Alkmaar are demanding €20m to sell which may be negotiable downwards.

Another profile being looked at is Mats Wieffer. The Feyenoord midfielder interests the Rossoneri and there have been meetings with the player’s entourage for a player who has already made his debut with the Dutch national team.

      1. Joke, listen. Ronaldo sold at 33 years old and PSG buying out PSGs contract is proof that big clubs sell players in their prime?? Hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahah. Move on, nothing for you here. Learn about football first, we can talk later.

        1. *Neymars. I mean I hope you know what a contract release clause means and how it works. You can google first not to embarrass yourself anymore.

          1. Poor Martin… Paying the release clause isn’t a sale? LOL. Where to they write it down in the finances? “Not a sale”-sale? “Extra income but not a sale”-sale? “Fake income”? “Marketing money”? “Sponsorship deal”?

A sale is a sale. How they reached the figures paid is irrelevant. Any clown would understand that.

          2. BB, you do not understand anything. A club accepting an offer or not being able to do anything is different. Your childish stupidity just proves that you’re an idiot. But it is entertaining. 😀

        2. “PSG buying out PSGs contract” What logic is that? Was there any clause, which allowed PSG to sign Neymar? What’s about Di Maria, Ozil? They were also, sold in 33?

          1. You wrote that they sold their best players in their prime. Neymar had a clause of 222M and PSG paid that to buy out his contract you muppet. I already wrote this to you, just a bit differently. Yes, there was a contract clause that allowed any club to pay that money and take Neymar, not PSG only. Please ask the same thing again, I think you need 3 times to understand.

They sold a 33 year old player that had a few more seasons to play to buy a younger player who will be able to play for them for the next 10 years. That is his prime? There is difference in selling a player and selling to build a better team or make it younger. Selling a 23 year old player that just had his good season at the club was never something they did.

You mean when they sold Ozil and Higuain to buy Bale, Isco, Carvajal and Casemiro? And returned Morata from loan to cover for Higuain? You are talking about that? Or when they sold Di Maria to bring in James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos.

          2. Martin LMAO! You are the, one who said “PSG brought PSG contract” Implying that, only PSG were allowed to sign him.. But now you, are saying any club could’ve paid that amount! You are contradicting yourself..

Even at 33, Ronaldo, single-handedly won them three UCL in a row.. Is that a sign of decline? Regardless of whatever reason, they sold Ozil, Di Maria and Higuain.. Atleast I was right that, top clubs do, sell their stars.. You have yourself, validated my comment!

          3. It was a mistake empty-head, obviously. WTF? And I literally corrected myself right under that. You even replied to something I wrote in that comment where I corrected it but you ignored that? OMG, your head is empty, best of luck! Also I did not prove anything, you are just as stupid as it gets. The reason doesn’t matter, just that they sold? That is just 9 year old level. The reason doesn’t matter. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahah. You sound like a woman after a fight when they were wrong.

Yeah, this is completely the same as when Real sold Ozil and Higuain to get 4 players + Bale for the 2nd highest fee in the history of football, with Bale costing more than the fee they received for Ozil. I know this sentence makes sense to you, but you have to be stupid for that…If Milan signed Mosies Caicedo for 100M it would be the same. If they signed Bernardo Silva for 100M it would be the same. Buy a brain, you are a waste of air and other peoples time.

          4. @Martin The language you are using, to argue shows very well, who needs to buy brain.. Your original comment, was that no big clubs, sell their star players.. Regardless of whatever reasons! On the other hand, you yourself acknowledged, that they sold their star players, for money! Who is a nine year old kid? You or me? Who can’t even, debate in a civilised manner..

          5. @Martin you are embarrassing yourself now.. You are the, one who made the tall claim that: Clubs activating release clause, doesn’t count as a sale.. And that release clause, is non negotiable! I asked a simple, question: Why was Ronaldo, sold for less than his release clause? To which, you said because he was 33 years old.. Release clause is a fixed sum!

  1. Dont forget bro Moncada: sell Theo for almost 90m to EPL clubs. Just sit down and relax, money will come. Replace the player with some rare ligue 1 talent or free agent american style !! Yeayy.. thats simple thinking from the owner these day. Berlusconi will cry about this. Sorry to say but they are not Milanista or italiano. They have no obligation. Feeder mentality

    1. Berlusconi rode this club into massive debts and the banter era…

100mil comes in for Theo, take it. Reinvest and move the club forward.

      #FixMyMilan FORZA MILAN ⚫️🔴

    2. Don’t forget that even Berlusconi you’ve referred to as Milanista sold Kaka to Real Madrid, Shevchenko to Chelsea, Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG in their prime after they won with Milan. Real sold Fernando Hierro, Raul and so on… they were Madrista and grew up in their youth clud. Stop pretending you know how it should just because you’re fans. Just sit down and wait what will happen

  2. Martin, you are such a bitter fellow. I wonder how you cope with yourself or how you feel after typing some stuffs you post…do you even read through after typing? Your neighbors or house partners must be going throw some hard time.
