CorSport: Lokomotiv Moscow not giving up on €10m Milan defender – latest on Miranchuk

By Oliver Fisher -

Lokomotiv Moscow are not giving up on the idea of signing AC Milan defender Diego Laxalt, according to a report.

Numerous different outlets have reported that the Rossoneri are looking to offload Laxalt this summer as they are looking for a new deputy to Theo Hernandez in the left-back position.

Lokomotiv Moscow are a side that have been frequently linked, with suggestions that playmaker Aleksey Miranchuk could be included as part of an exchange deal.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are not just banking on the sale of Ricardo Rodriguez to Torino but also on that of Laxalt.

The paper adds that Lokomotiv have not lost interest in the player but that the Rossoneri have set an asking price of €10million to try and make their money back on the former Genoa man.

Miranchuk, a profile followed by the management, is unlikely to return to the negotiations due to the difference in evaluations between the two players, the report concludes.
