CorSport: Milan accelerate pursuit of €40m man deemed perfect playmaker for Pioli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are serious about their attempts to sign Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge but face a complicated pursuit, a report claims.

In today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) they speak about the summer transfer targets that Milan are currently focusing on and they confirm that De Ketelaere is the first choice for the attacking department.

The segment also carries the title ‘Milan accelerates’, remaking that the Belgian talent is the man that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara seem to have chosen as the ideal attacking midfielder for the Rossoneri, and also an option for the right wing.

The versatility is something that teases head coach Stefano Pioli who is a lover of multi-functional players. Finding an agreement over salary should not be an issue but it will be much more complicated to convince the Belgians to sell given that they are currently asking for €40m.
