AC Milan have made the renewal of Franck Kessie’s contract a priority as interested clubs from abroad begin to gather, a report claims.
Kessie is arguably Milan’s player of the season in 2020-21 as the Ivorian took his game to the next level and became virtually the first name on the team sheet under head coach Stefano Pioli, but with his contract set to expire in 2022 some have begun to worry about his future.
This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that the Rossoneri have made Kessie’s renewal a priority and they want to reach an agreement before the start of the new season. Despite the common desire to find an agreement soon, there is still distance between the parties as the Ivorian wants €6m net per season, while Milan are offering €5m plus bonuses.
Work is underway to find a solution but in the meantime some top clubs such as Manchester City and PSG have set their sights on the midfielder.

Here we go again…
Calabria is got raised to 2 million & he is happy with that. Take an example or leave, ffs!
Wait, didn’t he ask for 5 and they offered 4? I think those were the numbers in the last 5 articles.
That is what other sources are reporting, but CorSport have higher numbers!
Sell him and get milikovic-savic. But I am sure no offer will arrive because he is just useless for modern football
