Despite the poor outcome of the 2025-26 season, resulting in heavy protest from the fans against the ownership, AC Milan are expected to raise the season ticket prices for 2026-27.
Milan dropped out of the top four race right at the finish line, losing their home game against Cagliari by two goals to one. Understandably so, the fans were furious in the stands after the final whistle and the protests have continued in the two weeks since.

In the meantime, Gerry Cardinale is still looking for replacements to create Milan’s new management, having decided to sack the previous directors. The lack of movement on this front hasn’t exactly helped calm the fans, who are louder than ever before.
Adding fuel to the fire
Most clubs would keep their heads down in a situation like this one, but according to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Milan might do the exact opposite. Indeed, they are expected to raise the prices for the season tickets.
Last season, Milan sold 40k season tickets and had the highest average attendance in Serie A at 73.3k. The fans supported them through thick and thin, in other words, but there might not be a reward waiting for them on the other side. Instead, an increase would be a slap in the face.
It remains to be seen what the reaction will be to this, but it’s clear that any attempt to get more money from the fans won’t be appreciated.

Just do what Lazio ultras did and cut that branch.
Cardinale: “please don’t do that. Please don’t boycott.”
Cardinale: “i really like milan. Even though ticket price of milan is higher than inter, milan still have higher attendance than inter. Look like i need to maximize the profit of ticketing. I will increase the price.”
@King22,
Fullkrug had a small role and his value most certainly decreased after this spell. OK, let’s
“play” a little, I will entertain this a bit:
Maignan (Terracciano, Torriani)
??? (De Winter)
Gabbia (Odogu)
Pavlovic (Tomori)
Saelemaekers (Athekame)
Fofana (Ricci, Comotto)
Rabiot (Ardon)
??? (Bartesaghi)
Diaz (Cisse)
Pulisic (Nkunku)
Mateta (Gimenez, Camarda)
25 players if I remember corectly?
Did I get everything right?
I must warn you, Cisse is primarily a #10 and Comotto can’t (yet) replace Modric, come on.
P.S. You mentioned FIVE new players, I added four so I’m guessing something is “wrong” in this little projection of mine but perhaps you forgot to add one more midfielder which should be sold along with RLC in your opinion?
Thank you, braindead tourists, please, come again.
Mercenaries….
No problem but in order to achieve that we need Quality coach like Sebastian Horneb, Mauricio Pochettino or Mattias jassle and also Quality players that can handle the aggressive attacking pressing system (4-2-3-1) I won’t talk about central or defensive midfielder we have them but we need attacking midfielders like 2 of them, we need a right and left wingers and a striker that can score goals we can manage our central defence, and our left and right defenders.
Stop writing Horneb. That’s not his surname at all, it’s Hoeneß.
That makes it easier to boycott i guess.
I hope Lazio happens to them for this. They deserve it.
This is because of the increased quality of football fans are paying to watch…. Enjoy empty stadiums Gerry, it’s gonna do wonders for your books. Redbird world
It would actually be pretty fantastic if the season ticket sales dropped dramatically. Nothing gets Gerry uncomfortable like empty stands.
