CorSport: Milan management set to meet Kessie’s agent over renewal – the offer set to be tabled

AC Milan cannot afford any disappointments regarding Franck Kessie’s renewal and that is why new talks are planned, according to a report.

As reported by il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) Milan do not want to and cannot mess up the renewal of Kessie’s contract after two valuable assets in Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu left the club on free transfers.

Maldini and Massara are perfectly aware of the importance of the player and the Rossoneri management have shown themselves to be widely available to listen to the economic requests of the player and his entourage.

Milan could offer a sum close to €5-5.5m net per season to try and satisfy the Ivorian, in the hope of renewing him before the season begins. In the coming days there will be a meeting between the parties to discuss details further, with Milan aware just how important the player is to the project.

  1. ok internet milanista, let’s lose our best player for nothing, instead of building around him

  2. If they let Kessie leave then the management ain’t truly serious as they seems to be,at theses era that players are committed to money than the teams such philosophy won’t work, they better change it before we lose all our good players

  3. I would be heartbroken if he left. But if he left for €60 million then at least that money could be reinvested. They must renew him regardless. Pay him then if he’s too expensive sell to a English club who will have no problem with his wage.
