Ismael Bennacer’s contract will expire in 2024 and AC Milan are closing in on an agreement for a new contract. The midfielder is a key player for the Rossoneri and getting him to sign a new deal would be a huge boost.
Due to the departure of Franck Kessie, Bennacer has been forced to step up for Milan this season and he has done so very well. His qualities are there for everyone to see and it’s not surprising that work is underway for a renewal.
According to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), an agreement is very close between the parties but one more meeting is needed to seal the deal. The offer is €4.5m per year until 2027 and just the details need to be worked out with agent Enzo Raiola.
In the meantime, Bennacer is preparing for Milan’s clash against Roma tomorrow. The Rossoneri are now just five points behind Napoli in the Scudetto race as the Partenopei lost to Inter earlier this week.
